[Overview] This herb is also known as Yehehua and Hehuanmi. It is the inflorescence of Albizia julibrissin Durazz., a leguminous plant. It is mainly produced in Hebei, Henan, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Anhui, Hubei, Jiangxi, and Sichuan provinces. It is harvested in early summer when the flowers first bloom, with branches and leaves removed, then dried in the sun.
[Properties] Sweet in taste, neutral in nature. Enters the Heart and Liver meridians.
[Actions] Relieves depression and calms the spirit, regulates qi and stimulates appetite, activates blood circulation and relieves pain.
