[Overview] This herb is also known as Jinyinteng, Jinyinhua Vine, Qianjinteng, and Renhancao. It is the stem and branches of Lonicera japonica Thunb, a plant of the Caprifoliaceae family. It is mainly produced in Zhejiang, Sichuan, Jiangsu, Henan, Shandong, and Guangxi provinces, with Zhejiang having the largest yield and Jiangsu the best quality. The stems and branches are harvested in autumn and winter, impurities are removed, then bundled or rolled into balls and sun-dried.

[Properties] Sweet in taste, cold in nature. Enters the Lung and Stomach meridians.
